6. Safety advice
-
To avoid any risk of fire or explosion:
Do not smoke in the vicinity.
Do not use near a source of ignition.
Do not allow the device to come into contact with greasy substances.
Do not handle the device with greasy hands.
Do not disassemble a pressurised device.

Do not constrict the outlet of the medical device.

Influence of pressure: Caution, check the supply pressure to the device. If the inlet pressure is not within the range
shown on the device, there is a risk that the flow may fall outside of the authorised standard range.

Influence of temperature: Caution, variations in room temperature (between 0°C and 40°C) can alter the accuracy
of the flows delivered.

Do not disassemble the device's inlet or output connectors.
-
On this type of device, there is no indicator showing gas flow.

The flow should be adjusted to one of the click-set positions. Never position the click-set button between two flows.
7. Cleaning and disinfection

Disconnect the device from the gas supply. Clean the outside of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth. Leave
the device to dry. If using disinfectants, check their compatibility with the plastic (see technical sheet).

Do not immerse the device.

Do not use surface disinfectants.
8. Storage
Between -20 and +60°C in a clean and dry place.
If possible, store in original packaging.
9. Maintenance
Preventive maintenance at 10 years.
Only Technologie Médicale authorised personnel can disassemble the device.
Technologie Médicale advises you to carry out a yearly service of the device:
Check the connection with the wall fitting or pressure regulator outlet.
Check that gas is correctly released at every flow adjustment click setting.
Check that there are no leaks when the button is at position 0.
10. Guarantee
Device guaranteed for one year (parts and labour), excluding deterioration or accidents due to negligence, improper
use or failure to monitor or maintain the device.
Contractual lifespan: 10 years
TECHNOLOGIE MEDICALE must be immediately notified of any incident or risk of incident.
