Attention: When using this product in conjunction with the SPCK52x keypad,
the device shall only be connected to power supplies compliant to EN60950-
1, chapter 2.5 ("limited power source").
Risk of damage to the device
When using this product in conjunction with the SPCK52x keypad, follow
these guidelines:
Use the device only indoors and in dry environments.
Do not expose it to dripping or splashing water.
Product Description
The SPCY520 Flush Mount Box allows the SPCK520/521 keypads to be recessed
into a wall to ensure a neat and elegant appearance.

Mounting the Flush Mount Box
1. Prepare a rectangular recess in a wall.
2. Mark 4 holes at the back of this recess or at the side of the recess for the fixing
screws (Fig. 2, item 2 and Fig. 3, item 2).
3. Drill the holes and secure the flush mount box into the recess in the wall via
the appropriate screw holes.
4. Bring the keypad cables through the cable entry points into the flush mount
box (Fig. 4, item 3).
Mounting the Keypad Base
1. Insert the keypad base into the flush mount box.
2. Bring the keypad cables through the cable breakouts of the keypad base (Fig.
4, item 3).
3. Fix the keypad base to the flush mount box via the screw holes on the base
(Fig. 4, item 1) and the screw mounts on the flush mount box (Fig. 3, item 1).
Closing the Keypad Front Cover
1. Hook the top of the front cover into the securing lugs of the keypad base and
press downward.
2. Press firmly to ensure that the two clips on the base engage with the
corresponding recesses in the front cover.
The securing screw that is provided with the SPCK52x keypad cannot be
used in conjunction with a flush mount solution.
Removing the Recessed Keypad
A removing tool is provided to enable the keypad front cover to be removed easily
from the flush mount box.
1. Push the two prongs of the tool into the clip openings (Fig. 2, item 3) at the
bottom of the flush mount box (Fig. 5, action 1).
2. When the prongs engage with the clips of the keypad base, push the clips
upward and lever the tool backward (Fig. 5, action 2) until the cover opens.
3. Remove the tool.
4. Lift the cover no higher than about 1 cm to avoid breaking the restraining lugs
at the top of the cover and then pull the cover gently down and away from the
unit.

Achtung: Bei der Nutzung dieses Geräts in Verbindung mit dem
Bedienteil SPCK52x darf das Gerät nur an Stromquellen angeschlossen
werden, die der Norm EN 60950-1, Kapitel 2.5 („Stromquelle mit
beschränkter Leistung") entsprechen.
Gefahr von Schäden am Gerät!
Bei der Nutzung dieses Produkts in Verbindung mit dem Bedienteil SPCK52x
müssen folgende Richtlinien beachtet werden:
Das Gerät nur in trockenen Innenräumen verwenden.
Das Gerät weder Tropf- noch Spritzwasser aussetzen.

Mit dem UP-Einbaurahmen SPCY520 können die Bedienteile SPCK520/521 in der
Wand versenkt installiert werden, um ein ordentliches und elegantes
Erscheinungsbild zu gewährleisten.

Montage des UP-Einbaurahmens
1. Bereiten Sie eine rechteckige Aussparung in der Wand vor.
2. Markieren Sie vier Löcher für die Befestigungsschrauben an der Rückseite
oder Seite der Wandaussparung (Abb. 2, Element 2 und Abb. 3, Element 2).
3. Bohren Sie die Löcher, und befestigen Sie den UP-Einbaurahmen in den
entsprechenden Bohrungen in der Wandaussparung.
4. Führen Sie die Kabel des Bedienteils durch die Kabeleinführungsöffnungen in
den UP-Einbaurahmen (Abb. 4, Element 3) ein.
Montage des Bedienteilsockels
1. Setzen Sie den Bedienteilsockel in den UP-Einbaurahmen ein.
2. Führen Sie die Bedienteilkabel durch die Kabelausbruchstellen des
Bedienteilsockels (Abb. 4, Element 3).
3. Befestigen Sie den Bedienteilsockel mithilfe der jeweiligen Schraubenlöcher
(Abb. 4, Element 1) in den Bohrungen am UP-Einbaurahmen (Abb. 3,
Element 1).
Schließen der Frontplatte des Bedienteils
1. Haken Sie das Oberteil der Frontplatte in die Haltelaschen des
Bedienteilsockels ein und drücken Sie die Platte nach unten.
2. Drücken Sie sie fest an, sodass die zwei Clips des Sockels in die
entsprechenden Aussparungen an der Frontplatte einrasten.
Die Sicherungsschraube für das Bedienteil SPCK52x kann nicht für UP-
Einlasslösungen verwendet werden.
Ausbau des versenkten Bedienteils
Im Lieferumfang ist ein Abzieher enthalten, mit dem die Frontplatte des Bedienteils
einfach vom UP-Einbaurahmen abgenommen werden kann.
1. Drücken Sie die zwei Zinken des Werkzeugs in die Clip-Öffnungen (Abb. 2,
Element 3) an der Unterseite des UP-Einbaurahmens (Abb. 5, Aktion 1).
2. Wenn die Zinken mit den Clips am Bedienteilsockel einrasten, drücken Sie die
Clips nach oben, und hebeln Sie das Werkzeug nach hinten, bis sich die Platte
öffnet (Abb. 5, Aktion 2).
3. Entfernen Sie den Abzieher.
