USE OF THE INFRARED FUNCTION
Pay attention to the following when using the infrared
function:
• Remove all creams, lipstick and other cosmetics of the
skin before using the infrared function.
• Avoid getting to hot. If necessary increase the distance
between yourself and the infrared function.
• Do not stare into the infrared lamp.
• Keep to the prescribed distance of 40 cm.
• Prevent other people watching into the infrared lamp
when using the infrared module.
• Do not touch the glass panel during and after a
infrared session. The glass panel can be hot.
• Do not use the infrared function if you are sensitive to
infrared light, consult with your doctor.
Infrared and your health
RIHO uses IR lamps with a full IR spectrum, but
optimum operation is with short waves. These IR rays
have a deep reach, penetrating the skin to a depth of up
to 6 mm. This warms the body optimally and efficiently.
Harmful materials are expelled more quickly, blood
vessels expand and the muscles become more flexible
so as to improve performance. These lamps were
designed to focus on the neck, back and shoulders. The
lamp reach their full heat capacity very quickly after
being switched on, so no time or energy is wasted. The
maximum length of a session with the IR lamps is
12minutes, so the chances of the body overheating are
very low. Besides, this is enough time for you to benefit
from the relaxing and restorative effects of infrared
during and after showering.
Starting a session
• Position yourself approximately 40 cm of the shower
panel
• Press 1 second on the ON/OFF button, the button will
turn white.
• The infrared lamp will turn on for 12 minutes and will
automatically turn off.
• When you press the ON / OFF button during a session,
the session ends prematurely.
The infrared module will cool down 4 minutes after each
session before you can start it again. The ON / OFF
button will flash white while cooling down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

IR panel:
The outside of the IR panel is the only part that can be
cleaned by the user.
Clean the IR panel only by hand. Never use a pressure
washer to clean the IR panel.
Never clean the IR panel when in use.
Use only mild cleaners for the IR panel: do not use
bleach or other heavy duty cleaners, they can damage
the housing and the glass filter will turn dull.

REPLACING THE LAMPS

The IR lamps have a large lifetime of 5000 hrs. They do
not decline in performance. They only have to be
replaced when they stop functioning completely.
GUARANTEE & SERVICE
RIHO provides a warranty of a 2year period in materials
and production. The terms of the international guarantee
do not cover the tanning lamps and the infrared lamps.
The RIHO warranty does not cover misuse, damage
caused by others and incorrect installation. RIHO's
liability is limited to defects in materials and production.
RIHO cannot be held responsible for the consequences
of careless usage of this product or for the
consequences of the violation of local regulation.
