11 Maintenance

Head does not need any maintenance.
The elimination of any difficulty must be done by a competent
technical, following the thermostatic valve assembly instructions.
12 Troubleshooting
Inconvenient
Radiator is not warming up.
Solution
• Check if radiator has been vented (air bled off).
• Check if the heating system is correctly functioning.
• Check if the distance X between the seat of the body valve
and the edge of the metal rod, with valve close (rod pushed),
correspond to 11,8 mm (see Fig. A) .
Inconvenient
Desired environment temperature is not reached.
Solution
• Check the inlet water temperature in heating system is ad-
equate.
• Check the radiant surface is correctly proportioned to room
dimensions.
• Check if pump pressure head in heating systems is adequate.
• Check if radiator or thermostatic head are covered by heavy
curtains, or located into recessed positions or covered by ra-
diator covers.
