7.4 Placing out of operation

When the appliance is not being used:
Switch off the appliance.
Separate the appliance from the mains.
Clean the appliance (see Cleaning).

Danger of life due to electrocution!
Prior to every repair, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Make sure that the appliance has stopped moving.
Check fuses or automatic circuit breaker of main and side
circuits.
Check connections in terminal box.
Check position of slide switch for rotation direction.
Call a specialist and report the fault.
Allow a run-in period of 24 h after mounting.
Check screws in motor housing.
Check screws of fan blade holder.
Make sure that no variable solid-state speed controllers are
used.
Check fan blade holders.
Check cover.
Check ceiling plates.
Swap two adjoining fan blades.
