15. Never cover the appliance with cloths or the like while it
is in use. The air inlet and outlet openings must never be
obstructed. Do not place anything on the blender.
16. Never place the appliance in such a way that it might fall into
water or come into contact with water or another liquid (e.g.
in or next to a sink).
17. The appliance is not designed for outdoor use. The appliance

must not come into contact with rain. Do not use in vehicles
or on boats.
18. Unplug the appliance when it is not in use or unattended, and
before cleaning. We recommend the use of a residual current
device (RCD safety switch) to ensure additional protection
during the use of electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a
safety switch with a rated residual operating current of 30 mA
maximum. For professional advice consult an electrician.
19. Before pulling the power plug of the appliance out of the
power socket, always make sure that the appliance is not in
use.
20. Never leave the blender unattended during use. Incorrect use
may cause injury!
21. Never reach for an appliance that has fallen into water or
other liquids. Always use dry rubber gloves to pull the plug
before taking it out. Do not start using it again before having
it checked for functionality and safety by Solis or a service
centre authorized by Solis.
22. Place the appliance so that it is never exposed to direct sun-
light.
23. Never insert any objects or tool into appliance openings. The
appliance may become damaged – danger of electric shock!
24. Always pull the power plug before attaching or removing
parts.

25. Never operate the appliance without liquids or foods.
26. Always make sure that the appliance is correctly assembled
before connecting it to a power socket and starting to use
it. The blade base has to be correctly screwed onto the jug /
container and the drive screw at the bottom of the blade
base has to be properly connected to the clutch of the motor
unit. Should this not be possible, take the jug / container off,
carefully shake its contents and try again.
Caution: The drive screw and the clutch are very hot after
blending. Do not touch!
27. Do not shake or move the appliance while it is in use. Never
move the appliance if it is filled with foods and in operation.
You should pull the power plug and empty out the blender
jug / blender container before moving the appliance.
28. Only use the appliance as described in this manual. Use only
the included blender jug, lid and measuring cup resp. mixing
container with the blade base. Only use with the provided
accessories or accessories recommended by Solis, incorrect
accessories or misuse can lead to damage of the appliance,
fire, electric shock or personal damage.
29. Never use the appliance with an external timer switch or
remote control.
30. The appliance is only suited for household use and not for
commercial use.
31. Remove and discard all packaging materials and potential
stickers or labels (except for the type plate) before using the
appliance for the first time.
32. Check your blender before every use to make sure that the
appliance itself, the power cord and the power plug are with-
out damage and no parts have come loose.
