Installation and setup

Inserttheincluded9VbatteryinthebatterycompartmentonthebottomsideofiRigPro.Dependingonthe
batterybrandandmodel,itmaybenecessarytoclosethecompartmenttokeepthebatteryinplace.Thisis
normal,anditdoesn'tinterferewiththeproperoperation.Ifyoudon'tplanonusingcondensermicrophonesthat
requirephantompower,youcanskipinstallingthebattery.

1. Connecttheincluded30-pinorLightningcabletoiRig
ProMiniDINconnectorfirst.
2. Connectthe30-pinorLightningcabletotheconnector
onyouriOSdevice.ThePower/AudioLevelLEDon
iRigProwillturndarkblue,meaningthatiRigProis
poweredandinStandbymode.
3. Makesurephantompoweristurnedoffbysettingthe
PhantomPowerswitchtotheOFFposition.Checkthat
thePhantom/MIDILEDoniRigProisoff.
4. Ifyouareusingamicrophone,connectitusinganXLR
cable,totheiRigPromicrophoneinput.
5. Ifyouareusinganinstrumentlikeaguitarorabass,
connectitusingaregular¼"plugguitarcabletotheiRig
Proinstrumentinput.
6. Ifyouhavenotdonesoalready,downloadthe
AmpliTube,VocaLive,iRigRecorderandSampleTank
appsfromtheAppStore(bothfreeandfullversions
areavailable),andlaunchtheonethatbestfitsyour
musicandaudioneeds.iRigProiscompatiblewithanyotherappthatsupportsdigitalaudioinputfromthe
30-pinorLightningconnectors.Assoonasanyaudioappthatcanusedigitalaudioinputislaunchedand
initializationiscompleted,theiRigProPower/AudioLEDwillturnlightblue.
7. Connectyourheadphones,guitaramplifier,mixerorpoweredspeakerstotheheadphonejackonyouriOS
device.
