Before using for the first time

Check that all the accessories are present and that the appliance is not damaged� Pour water into the
water container up to the maximum level and move the water around several times without adding
ground coffee� Then discard the water� Thoroughly clean all the detachable parts with hot water�

Using your coffee maker

1� Open the upper lid and fill the reservoir with drinking water� The water level must not exceed the
maximum level indicated by the water level indicator�
2� Place the filter holder in its receptacle and make sure the filter holder is assembled correctly�
Then insert the filter correctly�
3� Add the ground coffee to the filter� A cup of coffee generally requires a level spoonful of ground
coffee but the quantities can be changed according to preference� Then close the upper lid�
4� Place the carafe on the heating plate�
5� Plug the power cable into the mains socket� The screen will display 12:00 and the colon will
start to flash�
6� Press the on/off button once and the indicator light on the screen will illuminate in red�
The appliance will start�
