The machine should always be checked without the cutting
disc.
The machine should always be disconnected from the mains
when it is not in use.
When handling the machine ensure that it has been
disconnected as even if the motor is not running if the start
button is pressed the disc may start to rotate.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS.

2.1.- THERMAL PROTECTOR

The motor is equipped with a lentil type thermal protector
(150ºC) which disconnects the motor if the temperature
becomes too high. This increase in temperature may be due
to a cutting speed or load which is too high, to excessive or
insufficient voltage or to a high ambient temperature.
The protector causes the motor to switch off from the mains
electricity. If this occurs wait a few minutes until the motor
cools and switch the machine on again.
2.2. – WIRING TO MAINS
Most breakdowns occur due to faulty wiring. To avoid this
problem the following steps should be taken:
2.2.1. – THREE-PHASE MACHINES
1.-Check the voltage available. These machines can
operate directly at 380 V, without any need for further
adjustments. The hose should have 4 wires, each with
a 2.5 mm2 section (one of which should be yellow/green
(earth)) and a maximum length of 25m.
2.-The machine should be connected to an electric panel
with a differential relay with an earth connection.
3.-At the point where the machine is connected there
should be a 15 A overcurrent protection device
(magnetothermal relay) to protect the line.
4.-The machine should never be put into operation without
having been earthed.
5.-Once the machine has been plugged in, check the
direction of rotation of the disc. To invert the direction,
change the connection of two of the active phases in
the overhead plug.
2.2.2. – SINGLE-PHASE MACHINES
1.- Check the voltage available (generally it is 220 V with
35 A quick fuses or 25 A slow fuses). The hose should
have 3 wires, each with a 2.5 mm2 section (one of
which should be yellow/green (earth)) and a maximum
length of 25m.
2.-The machine should be connected to an electric panel
with a differential relay with an earth connection.
3.-At the point where the machine is connected there
should be a 20A overcurrent protection device
(magnetothermal relay) to protect the line.
4.-The machine should never be put into operation without
having been earthed.
