14. lf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

OPERATION

Classify the clothing according to the labels attached thereto before use Speed of
the iron-heating is quicker than its cooling So shall begin ironing the clothes which
requires a lower ironing temperantre first(synthetic fibre fabric and silk),and then
iron the clothes of other materials requiring for higher te mperature in proper order,
(woolen, cotton and jute etc.)
Place the iron vertically and sei the temperantre knob at MIN.
Insert thc plug into the socket, turn the temperantre knob to temperaturc point
rcquired by the clothcs material and aim thc material idcntify mark at the heating
indicator May start ironing when the indicator lamp turns off.
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket before filling( or emptying) the iron with water. Set
the steam control to O position(ifhave steam function) in order to avoid water leakage.
Fill the filling cup with water . Hold the iron in a titled position and pul the water into the iron
with normal tap water when using it for the first time.
For refilling, you can also use tap water. However, if the water is very hard, it is advisable to use
the distilled water.
Connect the iron to a suitable power supply outlet after the tank has been filled.
Adjust the temperantre knob to the wool cotton and jute range accordingly. Place
the iron vertically. After the pilot light turns off, switch on the steam button
For the setting relation between the temperantre knob and the steam push button,
sec the following table:

The weighty iron in the main body makes the iron heavier,

FILLING WITH WATER

Do not pul vinegar, starch, chemically descaled water or descaling agents in
the water reservoir!
