INLET & OUTLET

only for MAX-POE-1 & MAX-POE-3: always mount the
appliance with the inlet/outlet in horizontal position and the
drain outlet pointing downwards.

only for MAX-POE-2: the inlet/outlet manifold can be
rotated freely 360°; once installed make sure to rotate the
appliance so that the drain outlet is pointing downwards.

Make sure that the pipe in which the appliance will be
mounted, is properly attached to the wall, in order to
support the weight of the appliance. When the metal wall
mount bracket (included) is used to support the appliance,
make sure to properly attach it to the wall.

Make sure to shut off the water supply to the place of
installation, before you start any plumbing work.

1. Screw the connection kit with nuts onto the inlet and
outlet ports of the appliance; make sure to install the
gasket seals. Tighten the nuts firmly.
2. Install the appliance in the water pipe; make sure to
respect the flow direction, marked by means of an arrow
().
3. Connect the mains water supply to the inlet port of the
appliance.
4. Connect the house/application to the outlet port of the
appliance.
DRAIN

The rinse water that flows from the drain outlet when
filter flushing is performed, may be collected in a suitable
removable recipient (f.e. a bucket) or discharged via a
permanent connection to the sewerage system.

In case of a permanent connection to the sewerage
system, we recommend the use of a stand pipe with P-trap.
The connection must be made in such a way that backflow is
prevented. Make sure that the sewerage system is suitable
for the rinse water flow rate of the appliance.

PRESSURE GAUGE (only for MAX-POE-1)

The pressure gauge measures and displays the water
pressure at the outlet of the appliance.
1. Unscrew the plug from the front of the inlet/outlet
manifold.
2. Screw the pressure gauge in the opening; use an
appropriate sealant.

PRESSURIZING

1. Make sure the drain valve is in closed position, meaning
in the horizontal position.
2. Open the mains water supply.
3. Open a cold treated water faucet nearby the appliance
and let the water run for a minute until all air is purged
and all foreign material that may have resulted from the
installation is washed out; close the tap.
4. Check the appliance and all hydraulic connections for
leaks.
PRESSURE REDUCER (only for MAX-POE-1)

1. Adjust the water pressure at the outlet of the appliance,
by means of the grey knob on the top of the appliance:
to raise the water pressure: turn the knob clockwise.

to reduce the water pressure: turn the knob counter

clockwise.
PERFORM FILTER FLUSHING

If a permanent sewerage connection is not installed,
make sure to use a suitable removable recipient (f.e. a
bucket) for the collection of the rinse water.

1. Turn the drain valve 90° counter clockwise to the open
position; water will start to run from the drain outlet.
2. Rotate the grey bottom section of the appliance 3 to 4
turns, to wipe clean the inside of the transparent housing
(by means of the integrated lineair brushes) and to flush
the filter screen.
3. Turn the drain valve 90° clockwise to the closed position.
4. Check the drain outlet; there shouldn't be any water flow.
