MyScale Analyzer BW-SC2 is indicated to measure body weight, estimate body fat, body water
percentage, body muscle mass, bones mass and daily calorie intake (DCI) using BIA (bioelectrical
impedance analysis). This product is for use by generally healthy adults who are not ill, feverish,
have a chronic or acute disease, or a condition that affects the level of hydration such as pregnancy.

Fat protects the organs, regulates the body temperature and contains vitamins and energy. It is
not unhealthy, but excess body fat can cause health problems. The percentage of fat gives an
indication on the physical condition of a person.
The ideal percentage of body fat - also called adiposity - of an individual varies according to the
age and sex.

to the cells, helps to maintain the body temperature, transports nutrients to the whole body,
hydrates the skin and improves the digestive process. It allows the elimination of waste from the
body, protects the vital organs and lubricates the joints, etc.
The ideal percentage of body water mass of an individual varies according to the age and sex.
