Reinigung und Pflege – edelstahl
Mit normalen Reinigungsmitteln reinigen. Auch
Pflegemittel für Edelstahl können benutzt werden. Der
Stahl kann eventuell mit säurefreiem Öl eingerieben
werden. Kleine Kratzer im Stahl lassen sich mit einem
Nylon-Scheuerschwamm entfernen. Nur in der Richtung
schleifen, in der der Stahl ab Werk gebürstet ist.
Achtung: Bei Anwendung besonderer Reinigungs-
mittel für Edelstahl muss das Holz vor diesen Mitteln

Teak grows in South-east Asia and is a heavy, hard
and sturdy type of wood. Its high content of natural
impregnating oils makes teak highly resistant to rot
and fungus. This makes teak an ideal material for fur-
niture and everyday household articles that are used
both outdoors and in.
The surface of new teak products may vary in colour
and shading. These differences will decrease after
the wood has been used and exposed to sunlight for
a while.
Some products have stainless steel fittings.
Mounting
The rawlplugs and screws supplied for mounting are
designed for mounting on an ordinary masonry wall.
If your wall is made of a different material, you should
consider whether a different type of screw should be
used. We recommend consulting a professional.
Maintenance and cleaning – Teak
Your new Skagerak product is untreated. If you wish
to preserve and/or highlight the natural colour of the
wood, treat it with oil. The oil treatment should be
repeated at regular intervals as needed.

For regular cleaning use Natural soap which both
cleans the wood and adds a protective layer of soap.
Natural soap is used on untreated and oiled surfaces
alike. For basic cleaning use wood cleaner. After
basic cleaning, re-treat the wood with oil.
Cleaning and maintenance – stainless steel
Clean using ordinary cleaning agents. Care products for
stainless steel can also be used. Wipe the steel with a
neutral oil, if preferred.
Minor scratches in the steel can be removed with a
nylon scouring pad. Always rub brushed steel in the
direction of the factory brush lines.
NB! When using special care products on stainless
steel, avoid contact with the wood in order not to
damage the surface.
Disposal
Dispose of the product at a waste receiving station.
