Moulding compounds for inner container
(4) For the manufacture of the inner containers, only the moulding compounds listed in
Table 1 below may be used with the material parameters specified there.

Packaging, transport and storage

Packaging
The containers do not need to be packaged for transport or (temporary) storage if the
requirements of section 2 are met. All nozzle openings shall be closed by screwing on the
caps.

Transport, storage
2.1
General
Transport shall be carried out only by companies with specialist experience, suitable
machinery, equipment and means of transport, and adequately trained staff. To prevent
danger to employees and third parties, the relevant accident prevention regulations shall
be observed.
2.2
Preparation for transport
(1) The containers shall be prepared for transport such as to ensure that no damage can
occur during loading, transport and unloading.
(2) The loading surface of the transport vehicle shall be designed such as to exclude the
possibility of containers being damaged by impact or pressure due to point loading.
2.3
Loading and unloading
(1) Impact loads shall be avoided when lifting, moving and setting down the containers.
(2) If a forklift is used, the containers shall be secured while they are being moved with the
forklift.
(3) Nozzles and other protruding parts of containers shall not be used for lashing or lifting.
The containers shall not be dragged over the ground or floor.
2.4
Transport
(1) The containers shall be secured so that they cannot shift position during transport.
(2) The manner in which containers are fastened must not cause any damage.
2.5
Storage
(1) When temporarily stored outside, the containers should be protected from damage and
storms. Containers may not be exposed to the elements for more than 6 months.
(2) It is imperative to ensure that no rainwater can penetrate between the inner and
collecting containers.
2.6
Damage
For damage caused during transport or storage, the course of action shall be based on the
findings of an expert on water legislation or the certification agency.
