8. Unpacking and checking of the

HAZARD!
Suffocation hazard!
There is suffocation hazard due to
swallowing, due to inhaling of small
parts or due to foils, which get in front
of mouth and nose.
• Keep all used packing materials out
of reach of children.
• Children are not allowed to play with
the packaging material.

Unpacking and checking of the
appliance
1. Remove all parts from the package
and remove complete packaging
material. Remove also the transporta-
tion safety appliances, which may be
there.
2. Check the delivered items for
completeness. If the parts are missing
or damaged, please reach on the
address specified in this operating
manual.
3. Check all the individual parts for
damages. If there are damages, do
not use the appliance.
4. Before the first use, clean all the parts
of the appliance as described in the
chapter "Cleaning".
9. Start-up operation and use
WARNING!
Fire hazard!
There is a fire hazard due to hot surfaces.
In order to avoid a hazard due to an
unintended reset of safety temperature
limiter, the appliance is not allowed to be
supplied with an external switching
apparatus like a timer or connected
with an electric circuit, which is regularly
switched on and off with an appliance.
• Place the appliance on a heat-resis-
tant, dry and even surface.
• Do not place the appliance on the
surfaces, which can become hot (e.g.
hot plates, hot flames).
• Note that the appliance in operation
does not come in contact with another
object. Keep a distance of minimum 10
cm from other objects. Do not mount it
