- Bear in mind that the force generated by an electrical device can make you lose your balance.
Therefore, make sure that your feet are firmly planted and that your body is well balanced when you
are operating the product.
- Never operate the blower on damp areas or wet grass.
- Use of the blower on sloping areas:
. Do not work in areas with unduly steep slopes.
. Always position yourself horizontally to the slope and make sure your feet are firmly planted.
. Exercise particular caution whenever you change directions while working on a slope.
- Walk at a measured pace while operating the blower. DO NOT RUN.
- Keep the air outlet and ventilation holes unobstructed and clean at all times.
- Never direct the suction/blown air opening towards persons or animals. Never blow debris towards
persons and/or animals.
- Do not assume of your knowledge of the blower. Remember that a split second of negligence is
sufficient to cause serious damage. Be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for potential hazards
that you may not hear while operating the product.
3.3.3- Before maintenance and storage
- Make sure that all screws, nuts and bolts are tight; doing this will ensure that the blower is safe to
operate.
- Check the grass collection device regularly for signs of wear and/or distortion. Replace any worn or
damaged part.
- Make sure to use only original spare parts and accessories.
- For reasons of safety, any worn or damaged component should be replaced or repaired
immediately by a qualified technician.
- When not in use, the blower should be stored in a dry location that is inaccessible to children.
3.3.4- Before starting the product
- Only operate the product after completely assembling it. Do NOT operate product if tubes are not
fully and properly assembled!
- Before each use, check the blower vacuum for any signs of damage.
- Prior to each use, check the power cord for signs of damage. Under no circumstances should the
power cord be used if it shows any signs of damage.
- Ensure that the blower/vacuum is only connected to conventional sockets with a 240V
alternating current supply. Only use extension cables if they are really necessary. The use of
extension cables may cause a drop in voltage, which will result in the machine not performing to its
peak or the motor overheating.
- The blower can be plugged into any 230-240 volt AC outlet with 10 amps of fuse protection. The
electrical outlet is to be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) with a max
triggering current of 30mA.
