f LAN connectors
Connect to a Gigabit Ethernet network.
CAUTION
For safety, do not connect the connector for peripheral
device wiring that might have excessive voltage to the
following ports.
: Remote connector
: LAN connector
Follow the instructions for the above ports.
CAUTION
When you connect the LAN cable of the unit to peripheral
device, use a shielded-type cable to prevent malfunction
due to radiation noise.
g HDMI connector
Connect to a monitor using an HDMI cable.
Use only Sony-brand HDMI cables.
Recommended cable (example): DLC-HE20XF
HIGH SPEED HDMI cable (2 m (6 ft.))
h DisplayPort connector
Connect to a monitor using a DisplayPort cable.
Use the following recommended cable.
• LINDY 41630 4K-compatible DisplayPort cable (1 m
(3 ft.))
The compatibility of the following displays has been
confirmed.
• ASUS: PB248Q
Note
Use an active-type cable if using a DisplayPort-DVI
conversion cable or DisplayPort-HDMI conversion cable.
Operation of the unit using the following cables has been
verified.
• DisplayPort → HDMI Cable: StarTech.com DP2HDS
DisplayPort to HDMI Active Adapter
• DisplayPort → DVI Cable: XFX Inc MA-AP01-PD1K

Setting Up
If the PWS-100 was purchased separately, read the
following information and then configure the required
settings.
If a packaged product, such as the PWS-100TD1,
PWS-100MG1, or PWS-100PR1, was purchased, refer to
the operation manual supplied with each packaged
product.
Initial Settings
Before using the unit, configure the initial settings as
required.
The configuration method should conform to the operating
procedures for the installed operating system.
