sWITCHING ON AND OFF

To switch on, press the
After a brief period, the unit will switch on, the
Power LED will glow green and the user interface
will display the Menu screen.
Your Sound Server is designed to remain switched on
continuously. However, if you are not planning to use it
for an extended period, you may want to switch it off.
•
To switch off, press the
panel. After a brief period, the unit will switch off
and the Power LED will go red.

Use the
S and T keys to highlight the
icon and press the O Select key.

Use the
S and T keys to highlight the Shutdown
button.
•
Press the
Shutdown or Restart button, as required.
Note To switch the unit on again, use the ; button on
the front panel.
Emergency shutdown of the s4000
Holding down the ; button on the front panel for five
seconds will force the unit to shut down immediately.
This must only be performed if the unit becomes
unresponsive and cannot be shut down correctly. Data
corruption may occur as a result of improper shutdown.
