The term „water-resistant" or „waterproof" only applies
to brand new watches. Waterproofing is tested in
accordance with DIN 8310. ATM (or BAR) is the
definition of the test pressure and should not be
confused with diving depth. When swimming or diving
into the water, higher pressures may occur than the
test pressure guarantee for your watch. When in doubt,
remove the watch first.
