The 'Defrost' function
The 'Defrost' function enables you to defrost and toast bread.
1. Complete steps 1 to 4 in the previous section, 'Toasting bread'.
2. To defrost and toast bread, press the 'Defrost/Toast' button.
To defrost and reheat bread, press the 'Defrost' and 'Baguette' buttons.
3. To cancel programming or stop the defrosting process, press the 'Cancel' button.
4. When the desired browning is achieved, the toaster will turn off automatically and the
defrosted, toasted bread will be ejected.
The 'Reheat' function
The 'Reheat' function enables you to reheat cold, previously toasted bread.
1. Complete steps 1 to 3 in the 'Toasting bread' section. The thermostat must be adjusted.
2. Lower the carriage lever fully until it locks into place, then press the 'Reheat' button. The
toaster will start automatically.
3. To cancel programming or stop the reheating process, press the 'Cancel' button.
4. At the end of the cycle, the toaster will turn off automatically.
The 'Baguette' function
The 'Baguette' function enables you to heat and toast the interior of the bread only.
1. Complete steps 1 to 4 in the 'Toasting bread' section.
2. Lower the carriage lever fully until it locks into place, then press the 'Baguette' button. The
toaster will start automatically.
3. To cancel programming or stop the reheating process, press the 'Cancel' button.
4. At the end of the cycle, the toaster will turn off automatically and the heated bread will be
ejected when the desired browning is achieved.
The 'Cancel' function
The toast, defrost, reheat and baguette functions can be stopped at any time by pressing the
'Cancel' button.

Directions for use
- For first time use, we recommend you select setting 3. You can then adjust the browning
setting according to bread type and your personal taste.
- Select a lower thermostat setting to achieve lightly toasted bread.
- Dry bread toasts at a quicker rate than fresh bread, and thin slices of bread toast at a quicker
rate than thick slices. Select a lower thermostat setting.
