Use with Windows XP
Connect the borescope to a free USB 2.0
port on your computer.
The computer will automatically install the
driver.
Open "This computer" and "USB video
device" so you can see the image from the
borescope on your screen.
If necessary, fi t the magnet or hook (6) on
the borescope lens.
Feed the lens and gooseneck into the
location to be investigated.
You can increase or decrease the brightness
of the lens using the button (1).
You can take a photo by pressing the button
(2). A list of your photos is shown under the
borescope image. From here, you can view,
copy or delete photos.
Pull the lens and gooseneck out once you
have fi nished examining the item.
Use with Windows 7/Vista
Connect the borescope to a free USB 2.0
port on your computer.
Install the driver by inserting the
accompanying CD-ROM into the computer's
CD drive, open Explorer, select the CD drive
and double-click on this icon:
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Open the software by double-clicking on
this icon on the computer desktop.
Click on Options -> Preview to view the
image from the borescope on your screen.
If necessary, fi t the magnet or hook (6) on
the borescope lens.
Feed the lens and gooseneck into the
location to be investigated.
You can increase or decrease the brightness
of the lens using the button (1).
Pull the lens and gooseneck out once you
have fi nished examining the item.
The software menu is shown in the table on
the next page.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the lens, gooseneck and handle
with a well-wrung cloth containing a small
amount of household detergent after each
use.
Wipe the lens with a soft brush. Make sure
not to scratch it.
