Setting the log frequency
Push and turn the PTB to the right to set the log
frequency. The following will appear on the
display:
Logging every
001 sec.
Push and turn the PTB to alter the number of
seconds. Push again to save the settings or wait
several seconds for automatic saving.
PC software
The PC software may get slow if the log fi le is
very large (>100.000 measurements). To prevent
this, we advise not to set the measurement
interval smaller than necessary, especially when
you expect to let the logger run for extended
periods without periodically starting in a new fi le.
in this case we suggest the following intervals:
Period in 1 fi le Minimum
interval
<1 week 5 seconds
<1 month 30 seconds
<3 months 90 seconds
<6 months 180 seconds
<1 year 300 seconds
Create a new fi le
If desired, it is possible to create a new fi le during
logging. Should you choose to create a new fi le
during logging, the DL-1 will continue logging in
the new created fi le.
If the power is temporarily interrupted, the new
data will be saved in the fi le that was last used as
soon as the power is restored.
If you stop the logging by manually, and
restart, a new fi le will be created each time.
Push and turn the PTB until "New fi le" appears on
the display. Push twice to create a new fi le. The
new fi le name will appear on the display:
File:LOG0002.txt
created
Installing PC Software
Go to www.techgrow.nl and go to the product
page of Datalogger DL-1. Scroll to the end of the
page. Click on tab DL-1 PC Software. Here you
can see the available downloads for the DL-1.
Make a selection from the Windows Software
Installer or the Windows Software Download
(*.zip).
Reading off the SD-card
Stop the logging before removing the SD card.
Push the PTB to enter the menu. The following
will appear on the display:

Push the PTB again. The following will appear on
the display:

Push the PTB again to stop logging.

Now it is safe to remove the SD-card from the
Datalogger.
Place the SD-card in the supplied SD-card reader
or your computer.
Start the TechGrow Datalogger software on your
PC. Immediately the home screen will open with
the title "Visualize Data".
You can set up whatever you wish to see on the
screen on the right side of the page:

however, depict a second graph at the same time,
do this in settings (top right-hand corner).
