SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the machine, always observe
the enclosed safety instructions as well as
the additional safety instructions.
The following symbols are used throughout
this manual:

Always use cutters with the correct spindle
diameter.

Always use cutters suitable for the speed of the
machine.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Always check that the power
supply corresponds to the
voltage on the rating plate.
DESCRIPTION (fig. A)
Your router has been specially designed for
routing wood, wood products and plastics.

Inserting and removing a cutter (fig. B)

Put the machine on its side on the table with
the router base (9) pointing towards you.
_
Depress the lock knob (11) and keep it depressed.
_
Loosen the collet nut (12) and place a cutter in the
collet.
_
Tighten the collet nut firmly using the wrench (13).
_
Release the lock knob.
_
In order to remove the cutter, proceed in reverse
order.
Always remove the mains
plug from the socket first
before inserting or removing
Replacing the collet (fig. C)
Collets in several diameters (6 and 8 mm)
are supplied with the tool.

Put the machine on its side on the table with
the router base (9) pointing towards you.

Remove the collet nut (12). If a cutter has
been placed, remove it as well.

Remove the collet (8). If necessary, use a
pair of pliers.

Place the collet with the required diameter.

Replace the collet nut.
Setting the depth stop (fig. A & D)
The depth stop is used to set the maximum
cutting depth.
_
Loosen the lock knob (5).
_
Move the depth stop (6) using the
adjustment wheel (4).
_
Set the required cutting depth.
_
Tighten the lock knob.

Set the depth stop (6).

Slacken the clamping handle (3).
_
Push the machine down to the depth stop.
_
Fasten the clamp lever.
Mounting and adjusting the parallel guide
(fig. A & E)
The parallel guide (14) is used for routing
along edges.
_
Fit the guide rods (15) to the frame using
the screws (16).
_
Slide the parallel guide (14) in the router
base (9) and tighten the locking bolts (10).
Set the parallel guide to the desired guide
distance.
Fitting the centre point (fig. A & F)
The centre point (17) is used for routing circles.
_
Remove a guide rod (15) from the parallel
guide.
_
Mount the centre point (17) to the guide
rod (15).
_
Slide the guide rod (15) in the router base
(9) and tighten the locking bolt (10).
Fitting the guide bush (fig. G)
The guide bush (18) is used for routing figures.
_
Place the guide bush (18) in the router
base (9) as shown.
Instructions for use
_
Place the machine on the workpiece
before switching on.
_
Follow the instructions below 'Setting the
cutting depth'.
_
Guide the machine at a constant speed
across or along the material to be worked.
Do not exert pressure on the cutter.
Allow the machine enough time to cut
through the workpiece.
_
Hold the machine with both hands using
both grips. This ensures optimum control
over the machine.
_
While cutting along edges make sure that
the machine is always guided against the
direction of rotation of the cutter.
