Symbols
This symbol means that air motor exterior can be rinsed and disinfected in thermal washer disinfectors. For interior cleaning,
Ultradent approves thermal washer disinfectors manufactured by Miele. Following every thermal washer-disinfection procedure,
ensure that the product is cleaned and prepared using air motor cleaning products from Kavo, W&H, or similar.
This symbol means that air motor can be sterilized in an autoclave up to a maximum temperature of 135º C. Ensure that the air
135º C
motor is fully cleaned and prepared before any sterilization procedure. Ensure that air motor is taken out of sterilizer as soon as
sterilization is complete.
Precautions & Warnings
1.
The Endo-Eze AET Air Motor is designed to be used with the Endo-Eze AET contra-angle, but it can be used with any standard E-Type attachment.
2.
When removing the air motor from the air line, make sure that the speed regulating ring is set to position F or R to prevent it coming off due to any
buildup of pressure. Do not remove the air motor during operation.
3.
Air motor must be cleaned, prepared and sterilized prior to initial use. See section entitled "Cleaning, Preparing and Sterilizing Endo-Eze AET Air
Motor" for more information.
4.
When operating air motor, always consider safety of patient.
5.
Follow Endo-Eze AET instructions for technique and procedure.
6.
Do not drop or hit the air motor against a hard object.
7.
Do not disassemble or alter the air motor.
8.
Before use, place the attachment you intend to use onto E-type motor, run for a few seconds and wipe away any excess oil. Note: If air motor does
not function normally, cease operation and return to Ultradent for repair.
