The KTX-RC transmitter and the KRX-RC receiver allow to build a fiber optic link for
return channel. This solution permits the use of cable modem and similar signals for
communication networks where the classical coaxial solutions are prohibitive, as
within historical buildings with many architectural hindrances, holiday villages between
bungalows or residential groups of buildings.
The KTX-RC module uses a Fabry-Perot (FP) laser, which compared to the led sources
used in digital optical communications guarantees higher optical beam coherence,
allowing transmissions up to 20 km.
KTX-RC and KRX-RC are built in the die cast modular "K series" chassis and are to be
installed on a standard DIN bar (art:KD100) . Both products can be powered by one of
the KP power supply of the K series.
