Record Single Messages
Press and
Hold while
speaking
Press and Hold the message location, begin speaking
when you hear a beep. Release when finished.
Repeat for additional message locations.
(Up to 25 seconds for locations 1-7.)
NOTE: Record Light will flash Red while recording, Yellow
when only ten seconds remain.

Charge and Turn On
On
Battery Status Light
Charge
Plug the included wall adapter into the side of Lingo
and charge until the Battery Status Light turns GREEN.
NOTE: When charging from very low charge (Flashing RED),
three hours are required for a full charge.
NOTE: When Lingo needs to be charged, the Battery Status
Light will flash Red three times.

Record Sequential Messages
Repeat Step 3 for sequential messages in the location
shown.
(Up to 60 seconds for this location.)
NOTE: Record Light will flash Red while recording, Yellow
when only ten seconds remain.

Enter Record Mode
Press and
Release
Press and Release the Record button. The Record Light
activates.
NOTE: The Message Status Lights will also indicate their
availability. Red = Recorded, Yellow = Blank

Exit Record Mode
Press and
Release
Repeat
Press and Release the Record button to exit Record
Mode. Your Lingo is ready for use.
NOTE: Repeat Steps 2, 3, and 5 with the Erase button to
erase messages in any location.
