Addendum to Owner's Manual
Handset keys
LEDs Indicate the mode of the handset when a key is
pressed
DVD, CD Puts handset into Disc mode. Using the handset in
DVD (or CD) mode will allow you to control an auxiliary Linn
disc player whilst still allowing access to basic amplifier
functions such as volume
AMP Puts handset into Amp mode (for access to functions
marked in blue). To adjust the balance or stereo/mono output
the handset should be used in Amp mode. For all other
operations the handset does not require to be in Amp mode
SHIFT Allows access to functions in red
Mutes/unmutes the audio to the loudspeakers
Adjust the volume level. Volume range is from 0 to
/
100 (in 200 x 0.5 steps)
SRC-, SRC+ (source -, source +) Change source. Use these
keys to cycle through the available input sources
Adjust the balance (handset must be in Amp mode).

Balance range is from 15 increments to the left, to 15
increments to the right
Brings unit out of, or puts into, standby mode
RECORD See Product Lock
MONO Toggles between stereo and mono output (handset
must be in Amp mode)
Keys and functions of the handset not listed above do not function
with the KLIMAX KONTROL but may with other Linn products.
Note:
If your KLIMAX KONTROL is not responding as expected to
handset keys, it is likely that the handset is not in Amp mode.
To correct this, press the AMP key on the handset.

Your KLIMAX KONTROL pre-amplifier has been shipped with our
latest handset. This handset has been designed to provide simpler,
more intuitive control over a range of Linn products. Please follow
this addendum for instructions on using your handset with your
KLIMAX KONTROL.
Product Lock
To turn the product lock on:
1. Hold
shows LOCK ?
2. Press the SHIFT key followed by the RECORD (8) key
To turn the product lock off:
1. Hold
shows UNLOCK ?
2. Press the SHIFT key followed by the RECORD (8) key
