NextGen Firewall F600, F800, F900, and F1000
• Connect port 1 or MGMT of your Barracuda NextGen Firewall F-Series to your
management PC. A default route is required for the firewall because both the
management PC and the firewall must have access to the Internet.
• Connect and power on the Barracuda NextGen Firewall F-Series and wait 3-5
minutes until it fully boots.

Log into the Appliance
Select the management interface or deployment option for your firewall model:
• Web Interface (F18, F80, F18x, F280, F380, and F400 only) – Only a modern
browser is required to manage the firewall configuration via Web Interface. It
is possible to disable the Web Interface and use NextGen Admin as the default
management interface instead.
• NextGen Admin (F18 to F1000) – NextGen Admin is a stand-alone Microsoft
Windows application for managing all NextGen Firewall models. A copy of
NextGen Admin is included on the USB flash drive delivered with your unit.
• Zero Touch Deployment (F18, F80, F18x, F280, F380, and F400) – The
firewall automatically registers with the Zero Touch service and receives the
configuration uploaded from your NextGen Control Center. The sticker with the
Zero Touch linking code is located on the back cover of this document.
