Use
Wet the cleaning sponge (4) and place it in
the tray on top of the base (8).
Plug the soldering iron into a mains
socket. The soldering iron is on when it is
connected to the power and the tip heats to
the operating temperature in 3-5 minutes.
If necessary, secure any workpieces in the
holders (2) on each side of the base (8).
Hold the soldering iron by the handle. You
may now solder.
Clean the tip regularly by wiping it quickly
against the cleaning sponge.
Unplug and allow the soldering iron to
cool in the holder once you have �nished
soldering.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean the soldering iron tip after each use.
If necessary, wipe the soldering iron handle
with a well-wrung cloth.
Once the tip is worn out, replace it.
