Battery

your grillbot contains a rechargeable battery. the battery is recyclable. at the end of
its useful life, under various state and local laws, it may be illegal to dispose of this
battery into the municipal waste stream. Check with your local solid waste officials for
details in your area for recycling options or proper disposal. dispose of the batteries
only at approved disposal sites.
NEVER dispose of battery packs in a fire, throw them in a trash receptacle, put them
in a recycling bin not intended for battery disposal or otherwise discard them in a
manner that me result in their being hazardous to the environment.
Changing the battery
the plastic cover is removed using an allen key. Click off the old battery and insert
the new one. attach the plastic cover to the robot.
CAUTION! there is a danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacture.
do not use or leave batteries near a heat source. heat can melt the insulation and
damage other safety feature, possibly leading it to leak acid, overheat, emit smoke,
burst and/or ignite.
Remember, your grillbot is a tool, NOT a toy.

• 3x brass brushes* (installed)
* Brass brushes are standard issue with all new grillbot. these softer brushes
are recommended for porcelain or enamel coated grill grates. stainless steel
brushes are available for more robust grates and deeper cleaning.
