4. Intended use

The device is only intended for combing human head hair, as well as cat and dog fur. The device
is intended for private use only. This device may only be used for the purpose for which it is
designed and in the manner specified in the instructions for use. Any form of improper use can be
dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use.

5. Safety notes

WARNING
• Only use the device on dry, combed hair.
• Keep the device away from hot surfaces, and also protect it against direct sunlight.
• When not in use, always place the protective cap provided on the device.
• Operation in the vicinity of strong electromagnetic fields, for example next to a mobile phone,
may cause malfunctions.
• Keep packaging material away from children. Danger of suffocation!
• Before use, inspect the device and accessories for visible damage. If you have any doubts, do
not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Service address.
• Do not use the device near water or in water.
• Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! Make sure that moisture does not get
inside the device.
• Do not allow children to play with the device.
• Store the device out of the reach of children.
• This device may be used by children over the age of eight and by people with reduced physi-
cal, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are super-
vised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and are fully aware of the conse-
quent risks of use.
• Children must always be supervised by an adult during use of the device.
