SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read through all the instructions and keep the manual in a safe place for future
reference.
• Children over 8 years of age, mentally, sensory and physically impaired persons
may only use the device if they have been thoroughly familiarised with the functions
and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them and understand the
associated risks.
• Before use, check the voltage on the device badge. Connect the device only to
sockets which correspond to the voltage of the device.
• Never leave your device unattended during use. Keep children or unskilled persons
away from the appliance.
• Check the unit and power cord regularly for damage. If the power cord or plug is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center,
or a similarly qualified person.
• This equipment is not intended for commercial use and is intended for domestic and
similar environments only. This includes kitchens in offices, farms, hotels, motels and
facilities offering Bed & Breakfasts.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids for cleaning or any other
purpose.
• Do not use the appliance near a heat source.
• Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors and keep it in a dry place.
• Only use accessories recommended by the supplier. Other accessories are
dangerous to the user and may damage the product.
• Never pull the power cord to move or disconnect the unit from the wall outlet.
• Do not route the power cord in such a way that it becomes trapped or runs over it.
This applies in particular to all places where the cable comes out of the socket or
the appliance.
Special Instructions
• This device is not suitable for continuous operation. The operating time of 10 minutes
specified on the device badge must not be exceeded. Failure to do so may result
in damage to the motor. After 10 minutes of continuous operation, you should also
take a break of 10 minutes.
• For proper use and to obtain the best polishing results, it is recommended not
to press the shoes too hard against the brushes so that the brushes can rotate at
maximum speed.
• This device is not suitable for suede or nubuck shoes.
• The shoe polish and polishing brushes allow you to treat both light and dark shoes if
you use a colourless wax.
