Road safety
Road safety has absolute priority.
For this reason, you should always use your
car audio system in such a way that you are
always in control of the traffi c around you.
Keep in mind that you are travelling 14 m in
one second at a speed of 50 km/h.
In critical situations, we suggest not to use
the system.
You must be able to hear the warning signals
safely and in good time, e.g. from police or
fi re-fi ghting vehicles.
For this reason, listen to your music pro-
grams only at a suitable volume level du-
ring your journey.
Safety notes
Before you connect your interface,
please read the following notes ca-
refully.
The negative terminal on the bat-
tery must be disconnected while
the device is being installed and
connected.
Observe the safety notes from the vehicle
manufacturer (airbag, alarm systems, on-
board computer, immobiliser).
Installation instructions
Plug the connection cable of the interface
with the C3 connector into socket X1520
or X1510 of the CPA 121 or X1520 of the
CPA81 (see Fig. 1).
If necessary, two extension cables are availa-
ble for the connection.

Function
The interface is used to connect the Apple
iPod to the Blaupunkt Professional Line
system.
Note:
The operating functions for MP3 mode cor-
respond to the CDC operation of the Pro-
fessional Line system.
The CD changer corresponds to the Playlist
changer.
To ensure perfect functioning as well as the
display on the iPod display, you must create
separate playlists (1-9).
The Basic software version allows for im-
plementing up to 9 playlists with 99 tracks
each. Playlist no. 1 automatically stores all
tracks located on the iPod (iPod-specifi c
function).
