Height extension
The height extension is installed at the top opening of the skimmer to compensate for height differences between the
skimmer and the flooring. It consists of a neck and collar. The neck is a fixed extension piece which increases the
height of the skimmer lid. The collar is a closing piece with a variable adjustment range of up to max. 15 mm.
· Max. two necks and one collar can be installed.
How to proceed:

1. Remove the housing lid from the skimmer.
2. Insert the neck into the skimmer opening.
– If two necks are used, it is advisable to use adhesive to connect them.
3. Insert the collar into the neck at the desired length
– The possible adjustment range of the collar is 15 mm.
4. Position the housing lid.
5. If applicable, place tiles or stone slabs, etc. at the top around the skimmer opening.
6. Glue the collar in place.
– Only glue the collar in place after placing the tiles or stone slabs, so that the position of the collar cannot shift at a
later point.
If several height extensions are used, it is advisable to use adhesive to connect them. Use special adhesive for
ABS plastics. Superglue is not suitable for this purpose.
Cleaning
For cleaning work, remove the lid on top of the skimmer.
· Use clean water and a brush to clean the skimmer.
· Completely remove coarse dirt particles.
· Regularly empty and clean the filter basket.

If there is a risk of freezing, drain the skimmer. Water freezing inside the skimmer can cause damage. If necessary,
switch off the filter system and drain the skimmer (e.g. by lowering the water level in the pond) To continue operating
the filter system, it is necessary to ensure permanent flow and keep the skimmer and the skimmer inlet free of ice.
