Operating and maintenance instructions
- Suitable for spreading salt, sand and gravel in courts,
walkways, roads, parking places, parks, cemeteries,
schoolyards, hospitals, train platforms, tram stops, etc.
- Can be operated manually without difficulty using the
handlebars.
- Can be drawn by walking tractors, garden tractors, etc.
- The scattering mechanism is driven by the wheels of
the spreader.
- maximum speed 6 km/h.
Setting the spreading quantity
- The opening of the sliding shutter, which controls the
quantity of material to be scattered on the spreading
disk, is set using a lever.
- The sliding shutter can open to the left or the right. The
setting is shown by an indicator, which can be locked in
position to obtain the desired setting for spreading.
Cleaning and lubrication of the spreader
- The unit must be cleaned thoroughly after each use.
This is especially important after use with salt.
- After cleaning, it is recommended to dry the unit
carefully and lubricate the sliding shutter and guide
elements well.
IMPORTANT
1. When hitching the spreader to a tractor, ensure that no
one is behind the equipment.
2. The spreader must be in a level position before it is
filled.
3. The spreader must remain level. There are adjustment
options for this. If the tractor is changed, point 2 must
be checked. If the spreader is hitched to a tractor, it
must first be hitched to the vehicle and then filled after-
ward.
4. Hitch and secure the equipment carefully to avoid
uncoupling.
