Connections and controls

Power: The HI JACK requires a standard 12V AC power adapter (included). The Power
LED is lit when the HI JACK is operational.
Line out: The Line output has been realized as a 1/4" jack connection that can be used in
balanced or unbalanced mode. The mode switches automatically depending on the cable
used (see below).
HI-Z input: The high-impedance input is suitable for electric guitars, basses and similar
instruments (e.g. harps or violins) with pickups. For the best sound quality, turn the output
of the instrument up as high as possible.
Level control: Adjust the level so that the input of the downstream device does not dis-
tort.
