outstanding convenience of the BLANCO SensorControl – BSC
Please read these instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
Operation
The BLANCO SensorControl – BSC
controlled pop-up for BLANCO sinks. Simply touch
the middle of the sensor field with your finger to
open or close the basket strainer in the outlet.

This device conforms to the following EC Directives:
• 73/23/EEC of 19 February 1973 - Low-Voltage
Directive
• 89/336/EEC of 3 May 1989 (with modifications)
– EMC Directive
• 93/68/EEC of 22 July 1993 – CE Marking Directive
Safety instructions
• Only the parts supplied must be used.
• Under no circumstances must the device be
modified.
• Use only when the supply lead and devices are not
damage.
• Disconnect the plug in the event of a malfunction.
• The device must only be repaired by our customer
service.
To prevent damage
• Falling objects and cooking utensils may damage
the glass
• The supply lead
- must not be allowed to come into contact with
hot components
- must not be dragged across sharp edges
- must not be used as a handle for carrying

test for leaks and for movement

if the basket strainer does not lift/lower:
• check the mains plug and plug connections
• check the alignment of the basket strainer and
remove any dirt
• remove water film from the sensor
If the system opens or closes for no reason:
• check whether water has dripped onto the sensor
surfacet
• check whether cooking utensils or other
conducting materials are touching the surface
• occurs when cleaned with a damp cloth
At the end of its service life, please dispose of the
device in accordance with local waste disposal
regulations.
