B Currency conversion
The upper numeral line on the display shows the amount in the
selected local currency, represented by the
numeral line always shows the corresponding Euro amount, as
indicated by the

Defining the currency for conversion into / from Euro
Using the « s » or « a » key, you can select the local currency you want
in the display line at the very top. The following abbreviations are
used for the local currencies listed below:
ATS Austria (Shilling)
BEF Belgium/Luxembourg (Franc)
DEM Germany (Mark)
ESP Spain (Peseta)
FIM Finland (Mark)
FRF France (Franc)
IEP Ireland (Pound)
ITL Italy (Lira)
NLG Netherlands (Guilder)
PTE Portugal (Escudo)
GRD Greece (Drachma)

For these currencies, the fixed conversion rates have been
programmed at the time of manufacture. The respective exchange
rate is shown in the upper numeral line when you select the currency
with the « s » or « a » key and then press the

Converting from IEP (or any other EU currency) into Euro
Using the « s » or « a » key, select e.g. the Irish currency IEP. Press
the key. Enter the IEP amount. The lower numeral line shows the
conversion into Euro.
