Know your USB charger. Do install the battery in the USB charger until you have read and understand this instruction manual. Learn
the tool's applications and limitations, as well as the specific potential hazards related to this tool. Following this rule will reduce the
risk of electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
Connect only devices which are compatible with DC5V, 2.1A power source to the USB power supply port. Failure to do so may cause
damage to the connected device.
• Only insert USB adapters into the device otherwise you may cause a dangerous short circuit of the battery.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Installing The Battery Pack
• Slide the battery pack into the tool base, (Note the battery has raised grooves which allows it to fit into the device only one
way).
• Make sure the battery pack snaps into place and that battery pack is secured in the device before beginning operation.
Improper installation of the battery pack can cause damage to internal components.
Removing The Battery Pack
• Locate the battery release catch (2) on the top of the battery and press downwards.
• Whilst holding down the battery release catch slide the battery pack away from the device.
Connecting A USB Device
Before connecting a USB device we recommend that you back-up your data. BLAUPUNKT will not be held responsible for any data
loss.
• Press the power button on the USB cartridge to turn the charger on (4). The indicator light will illuminate green.
• Connect the USB cable (not included) with the power supply port (3) and then connect the other end of the cable with the
device you wish to recharge. The indicator light will flash green while the device is charging.
• When the device has finished charging the indicator light will stay green for 5 minutes.
• Press the power button on the USB charger to turn the cartridge off.
Note: The USB cartridge will automatically turn off after 10 minutes if no device is plugged into the USB ports.
Note: The charger is fitted with a protection system. Wait 10 seconds before you plug in a device after charging another. On rare
occasions a device may not charge, in this case unplug it and wait 10 seconds before plugging in another.
