IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS


Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Never use accessories which are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a
danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.

Never use or put away the appliance near hot surfaces.

When you remove the batteries, never use any other battery model than that recommended by the
supplier and, even more important, respect the voltage. Make sure to dispose of them in an
ecological manner by handing them in at a place destined to this end.

Similarly when you decide to throw away the appliance make sure to remove the batteries and to
dispose of them in an ecological manner.

After a long period of inactivity, the batteries may leak and disturb the appliance functioning or
damage it. To avoid this, it is advisable to remove batteries once the treatment has been completed
and when putting away the appliance for a long period. Check their state regularly.

When a battery leaks, you have to replace it and clean residue to avoid any risk of bad contacts.
It is also recommended to wash one's hands after having manipulated used batteries.

Be careful never to leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of
children or incompetent persons.

This appliance is not waterproof and cannot be used in the proximity of water.

Always place the appliance in a dry environment.

If the mirror is damaged, be careful not to cut yourself when manipulating it.

Do not place the mirror facing the sun as the rays reflected could damage your eyes or overheat
inflammable surfaces.
UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp plug is
used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
BATTERIES

The appliance works with 2 batteries type LR14-C, of 1.5V each.

When inserting the batteries, please respect the polarity indicated in the housing (the + of the
battery with the + of the appliance, and the same for -)

To replace the batteries, press the lateral switch of the appliance and lift the mirror support.
Insert the batteries in the housing following the direction indicated inside it, then put the support
back to its original spot. The appliance is now ready for use.
