Cleaning / Maintenance and Care
Please observe the information on the degree of protection (tightness) of the
device type you are using. Before starting cleaning, make sure that the signals
sent to the computer, by pressing the keys during cleaning, do not trigger any
unwanted actions in your respective application. If necessary, temporarily switch
to a non-critical application. It is recommended to clean/disinfect with the key
lock switched on, the computer switched off or after removing the device to be
cleaned from the computer. Soiling can be removed from the surfaces with a soft
brush, sponge or cloth in a first step. After the dirt has been removed, the glass
surface can be treated by spray disinfection or with a surface disinfectant by wipe
disinfection.
Note!
Please keep the plugs of the device dry, open contacts could be damaged. If the
e-medic™ keyboard is dipped into liquids, it could cause irreparable damage. Do
not use pointed or sharp objects for cleaning. All common cleaning agents can be
used to clean the glass surface.
In general, the exposure time should be as long as necessary but as short as
possible. Cleaning petrol, acetone and agents with >10% chlorine content are
unsuitable for cleaning.
Due to the wide range of substances available on the market and continuous
market movements, unfortunately, only an orientation of substances to be used
can be given. A binding recommendation is not possible. In this respect, we can
not assume any liability for the use and application of all substances.
