Thank you for choosing a Glashütte Original. The origins of our manufactory extend back to
the year 1845, when watchmaker to the royalty Ferdinand A. Lange founded the first Glashütte
watch company, from which our manufactory directly emerged. To this day Glashütte Original
watches have been made in this manufactory, ensuring high quality in every loving detail –
details that have made watches from Glashütte world famous.
Manufactured largely by hand and the most modern of machines where absolute precision is a
must, these watches convey the comprehensive knowledge and expertise of Glashütte master
watchmakers. Glashütte Original demands of itself the highest in standards, a fact expressed
in the promise: "If it says Glashütte Original on the outside, then it's original Glashütte on the
inside." Traditional fine German watchmaking lives on in our manufactory.
