The heart of every watch is the movement, something we trust no one else but ourselves to manufacture. A generally little-known fact is that Glashütte Original is one of the few watch manufacturers in the world using – without exception – its own movements. The construction, the production of each complicated piece, and the conscientious mounting of the movements all take place in our factory.

CORRECTOR STYLUS The corrector stylus is made of brass. Please use only this stylus for correction in order to avoid damaging your watch‘s case. If other objects such as ballpoint pens, scissor tips, or needles are used, they could be made of materials that are harder than the metal your case is made of. This could result in scratching your corrector button or creating a non-water-resistant spot in your case.
WATER RESISTANCE On the edge of your watch’s case back you will find the water pressure in atmospheres (e. g. 5 atm) engraved that your Glashütte Original can withstand. This is only valid for a factory-new watch. Water resistance can be impaired by shocks to the crown, contact with solvents, sprays, and cos- metics, or improper opening and/or closing of the case back.
