Lesen und befolgen Sie alle Anweisungen in dieser Bedienungsanleitung, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen. Warnung Dieses Symbol zeigt wichtige Sicherheitshinweise an.   • Seite 3 1. Nehmen Sie die Maschine aus der Kiste und stellen Sie die Maschine Auf ein Holzbrett. Siehe Bild 1. Bild 1 2. Montage des vorderen Fußgestells. Siehe Bild 2 Bild 2 2.1 Entfernen Sie die Schraubenmuttern von den Schraubenbolzen 1, 2. Entfernen Sie die Schraubenbolzen und Rohrzwischenstücke.
  • Seite 4 3. Nun montieren Sie die Achsträger, Achse und Reifen an. Siehe Bild 3 Bild 3 3.1 Entfernen Sie nun das Holzbrett. 3.2 Demontieren Sie den Schraubenbolzen 7 und den Abstandshalter. 3.3 Bringen Sie die Hinterachsen Träger an der richtigen Stelle an und richten Sie die Montagebohrungen mit den Bohrungen 6, 7 der Hinterachsen Träger aus.
  • Seite 5 4. Bringen Sie das Zerkleinerungsrohr an die Maschine an. Bild 4 4.1 Bringen Sie das Zerkleinerungsrohr 2 seitlich an der Maschine an. Richten Sie die drei Montagebohrungen am Flansch mit den drei Bohrungen am Platz 1 aus. 4.2 Ziehen Sie den Flansch mit einer M8 Mutter und Unterlegscheibe an. 5.
  • Seite 6 Siehe Bild 5. Der Abstand zwischen Tankdeckel und Benzinstand sollte 10 bis 15mm betragen. Bild 5 9.3 Öffnen Sie den Tankdeckel und ziehen Sie den Messstab raus. Siehe Bild 6. Verwenden Sie zum Befüllen des Öltanks ausschließlich Öl der Sorte 10W-30 oder 5W-30. Der Abstand zwischen Tankdeckel und Ölstand sollte 10 bis 15mm betragen.
  • Seite 7 6. Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit de, Kraftstoff um. Dieser ist leicht entzündlich und die Dämpfe bilden explosive Gase. Die Nachfolgenden Schritte sollten unbedingt beachtet werden: *Entfernen Sie nie den Tankdeckel und füllen Sie keinen Kraftstoff ein, während die Maschine läuft. Schalten Sie den Motor aus und lassen Sie den Motor, sowie das Abgassystem komplett abkühlen, bevor Sie Benzin nachfüllen.
  • Seite 8 5. Achten Sie auf den Auspufftopf, während die Maschine in Betrieb ist. Die Berührung des Auspufftopfs kann Verbrennungen zur Folge haben. 6. Halten Sie immer Ihr Gleichgewicht und einen Festen Stand. Stehen Sie nie höher wie das Grundgestell der Maschine, wenn Sie Material einwerfen. 7.
  • Seite 9 2. Bringen Sie die Maschine an einem Platz unter, wo es zu keinem selbstständigen Entzünden von Kraftstoffdämpfen kommen kann. Falls die Maschine für längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, entleeren Sie den Benzintank. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Maschine abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie sie aufbewahren. 3.
  • Seite 10 Blätter und Grass zerkleinern 1. Blätter und kurze Stängel (Bohnenpflanzen). Grasnarben, Maiskolben und ähnliches Material sollten in den Großen Einwurf Trichter eingeworfen und zerkleinert werden. 2. Öffnen Sie nicht die Plastikabdeckung, wenn Sie mehr Material eingeben wollen. 3. Wenn die Blätter und ähnliches Material etwas schwer in den Großen Einfülltrichter rein gehen, benutzen Sie einen Hölzernen Stab anstatt Ihre Hände oder metallischer Stäbe.
  • Seite 11 2. Tragen Sie Arbeitshandschuhe, während Sie den Schneiden Behälter in die richtige Stellung bringen. 3. Entfernen Sie die Schraube, welche die zwei Schneiden zusammenhält. 4. Schleifen Sie die Schneide nach. - Sollte die Schneide Bruchstellen (Macken) haben, die durch Steine oder Metallgegenstände verursacht wurde, schleifen Sie zuerst diese Bruchstellen (Macken).

  • Seite 18 6. OPERATING LOCATION: Set up the chipper/shredder on firm, level, grass or dirt. DO NOT set up the chipper/shredder on gravel, asphalt, concrete or stone. The chips are expelled from the machine with enough force to ricochet off of hard surfaces and cause serious injury.
  • Seite 19 12. Cleaning Chipper/SHREDDER: Allow the motor to cool off, then brush dust and chip build up off the motor to prevent fire or overheating. WARNING Like all machinery there is potential danger when operating this machine. Accidents are frequently caused by lack of familiarity or failure to pay attention. Use this machine with respect and caution to lessen the possibility of operator injury.

Assembly The major components of this chipper/shredder have been assembled at the factory. Some minor assembly is required.
  • Seite 21 3. Set the chipper/shredder upright and set the hopper gasket around the chute as shown in Pic.3. Pic.3 Positioning the hopper gasket 4. Place the hopper on top of the gasket and line up all of the holes. Secure it with hex bolts, washers and lock nuts.
  • Seite 22 5. Place the handle on the hopper and line up all of the holes. Secure it with washers and bolts. (See Pic.5) Pic.5 installing the handle 6. Place the funnel over the studs in the side of the chipper/shredder and secure it with washers and lock nuts.

    SECTION 3: OPERATIONS Operation Safety WARNING Damage to your eyes, hands, and ears could result from using this machine without proper protective gear. Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and leather gloves when operating this machine. WARNING Loose hair and clothing could get caught in machinery and cause serious personal injury.
  • Seite 25 To operate the chipper/shredder: 1. Place the chipper/shredder on a flat, firm, dirt or grass surface and point the outlet in a safe direction. 2. Check the oil and gas levels before starting the motor. 3. Place the bag over the chute and tie it securely in place. 4.
  • Seite 26 Hold down the engine firmly with one hand on the frame. With the other hand grip the recoil starter cord handle and pull slowly until resistance is felt indicating that the recoil starter is engaged. When resistance is felt pull the cord sharply (Pic.14). Continue this procedure until the engine starts.

When finished chipping, turn OFF the machine, allow all moving parts to come to a complete stop, and disconnect the spark plug wire before moving the machine, empty the bag, unclogging the inlets or outlets, filling the gas tank, or performing maintenance and repairs.
  • Seite 29 Cleaning Clean the machine after each use. Allow the motor to cool and remove the spark plug wire. Brush off or vacuum wood chips and wipe off the remaining dust from the exterior of the machine with a dry cloth. DO NOT rinse off the chipper/Shredder with water. Remove any chips or debris from the hopper and discharge chute.
  • Seite 30 After every 100 hours of running or every month, the air filter (Pic.22) (Pic.22.1) should be removed, examined for deterioration and cleaned. Clean the Air filter thoroughly using environmentally friendly water based degreasing agent. Allow to dry fully then replace the air filter.

  • Seite 33 3. Remove one blade, rotate the impeller, and remove the second blade. 4. Have the original blades professionally sharpened, or order a replacement set, then re-install the blades. 5. Replace the side cover plate and re-attach the spark plug wire. Replacing V-Belt Replace or tighten the V-belt if you notice the motor running and the chipper blades are not spinning.
