1. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS AND NOTES FOR CONSULTING THIS MANUAL
The "DUKE 70" and "TP 110" generators are made using INVERTER technology. They are
extremely compact and versatile devices that can be used in all those situations that require
minimum obstruction, combined with the highest performance.
Microprocessor- control inverter systems for compressed air plasma cutting.
Portable, fan-cooled, with contact striking of the pilot arc.
They allow rapid cutting without buckling of the all conductor materials.
The use of inverter systems allows obtaining a very compact generator for cutting on out-
of-the-way surfaces and for obtaining excellent results. The switching frequency of the
inverter allows controlling the electrical arc for excellent welding performances.
Changes to the mains power or load do not cause changes to the cutting current. In the
design phase, special attention was placed on producing a machine that guarantees high
performance, durability and low maintenance; for this reason, FIMER adopted electronic
components in the solid state, for both the power components and the control components.
The machine is also suitable for cutting corrugated sheet metal.
In any case, it is recommended to use the special spacer (stand-off) supplied with the cutting
torch.
Thanks to the advanced control techniques adopted, the product is extremely reliable and
easy to use.
