How to proceed:

1. Remove the filter cover.
2. Remove the parts in the filter container.

· Set the desired flow rate at the filter pump.
– To increase the flow rate: Turn the flow regulator in the + direction.
– To decrease the flow rate: Turn the flow regulator in the – direction.

1. Position the filter pump at the centre of the filter container.
2. Arrange the bio surface elements.
– Arrange eight bio surface elements upstream of the filter pump and two downstream of the filter pump.
3. Screw the adapter onto the pump outlet and connect the nozzle pipe with the adapter.
4. Guide the mains cable through the groove into the filter container and fasten the cable sleeve in the groove.

1. Insert the opening of the fine filter foam (30 ppi), then the coarse filter foam (10 ppi) onto the nozzle pipe.
2. Position the opening of the filter lid on the nozzle pipe and push it onto the filter container, so that the filter lid locks
in place.

1. Insert a branch valve or connecting piece.
– The branch valve has an additional hose connection for a water spout or river.
2. If applicable, connect a hose for a water spout or river to the branch valve and adjust the flow rate on the branch
valve.
– To increase the flow rate: Turn the flow regulator in the + direction.
– To decrease the flow rate: Turn the flow regulator in the – direction.
3. Attach the second nozzle pipe.
4. Attach the nozzle on the nozzle pipe.

Installation

Adhere to the following conditions for dry installation:

· Ensure that the connection to the power supply is at least 2 m from the pond.
· Only install the unit below water level.
· Position the device in such a way that the nozzle insert is located above the water level.
· Set up the device horizontally on a firm, mud-free surface.
Commissioning/start-up
N O T E
The unit will be destroyed if it is operated with a dimmer. It contains sensitive electrical components.
· Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately.
Switching off: Disconnect the unit from the mains.

Remedy of faults

Malfunction
The unit is not operating
Insufficient delivery rate
Unit switches off after a short running period
Cause
No mains voltage
Flow regulator excessively throttled
Impeller blocked
Strainer casing clogged
Foam filter soiled
Water temperature too high
Remedy
Check the mains voltage.
Set flow regulator
Clean impeller
Clean strainer casing
Cleaning the foam filter
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C
