MAINTENANCE

• The mosquito trap does not require any maintenance apart from the collection
container, which should be regularly emptied.
• Before maintenance, always unplug the appliance from the mains.
• Wait for 2–3 minutes until the mosquito trap has cooled down.
• Inspect and clean the collection container regularly to make sure that air can flow
properly through the trap. Turn the collection container clockwise to loosen it. Empty
the container and screw it tightly anti-clockwise.
• Replace the octenol tablet once a month. Although the tablet does not fall apart
or dissolve, it does not release any substance after around 30 days, so has to be
replaced to remain effective.
• Check the fan blade and the inside of the fan housing regularly and clean if
necessary.
• Reconnect the electrical cable and turn on the power.
• If you are not going to use the insect killer for a long period of time, you should clean
it before storing it in a dry place at room temperature. It is a good idea to store the
mosquito trap in its original box.
