U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE
BROWN
GREEN/YELLOW
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings
identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or
and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is
used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

RECIPE
Ingredients:
250 grams butter
250 grams self-raising flour
250 grams sugar
4 eggs
Melt the butter slowly, then add the sugar and the yolks of the 4 eggs. Stir into a creamy mixture. Beat
the 4 egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Gradually add the sifted flour and mix until thick. Finally, add
the stiffened egg whites. The batter is now ready for cooking.

Une légère fumée peut se dégager lors de la première utilisation. Ce phénomène est courant avec les
éléments de chauffage neufs et disparaîtra rapidement.
UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL
Déroulez entièrement le cordon avant de mettre la fiche dans la prise. Placez l'appareil sur un support
stable, résistant à la chaleur. Vous pouvez ouvrir maintenant l'appareil. Refermez l'appareil et laissez
chauffer les plaques. La lampe témoin s'éteint vert, les plaques ont atteint
la bonne température. Faites quelques essais de réglage de température
pour trouver le réglage idéal.
