FM3 – VALVE RADIO WITH SD / MMC READER
1. Introduction

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of the device after its lifecycle could harm

Do not dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it should be taken to a specialized
company for recycling.
This device should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling service.

Thank you for buying the FM3! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the device
was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.

2. Safety Instructions

Keep this device away from rain and moisture.
Unplug the mains lead before opening the housing.
• Damage caused by disregard of certain guideline/s in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer
will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
• Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature. Protect the device
against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
• Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifications of this manual.
• Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary.
• Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.
• Do not expose the device to splashing or dripping liquids. Never place objects filled with liquids, such as a vase,
onto the device.
• Keep an area free of min. 20cm around the device the device to ensure enough ventilation. Do not cover the
ventilation openings with any object.
• Keep the device away from naked flame sources such as candles.
• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
• Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users.
3. Starting the System
The radio comes with a remote control powered by 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not incl.). Insert new batteries respecting
the polarity.
The power switch is located at the back of the radio. Switch on the radio. The unit will take 10 seconds to start while
the function indicators illuminate one by one. The AUX IN indicator lights when initialization is finished.
4. Use
• Volume Control
The default volume level is 10. Press Vol+ or Vol- on the remote control to adjust the volume level.
Press Mute to mute or to restore the sound.
