Quick Start-up of Kostal Inveor Frequency Converter
Initial operation with Elektror basic parameters
1. Check for damage and conformity of the supply voltage (1 ~ 230V / 3~ 400V) with the inverter data.
2. Professional installation, electrical connection, shielding and bonding of the fan / side channel compressor and the

inverter and any accessories according to the respective installation / operating instructions.

3. The device must be checked carefully to ensure it is in a satisfactory state before being put into service the fi rst time or
on any subsequent occasion.
4. Switch on power.
5. After connecting the appliance to the power supply network, the fan / blower starts, provided all other starting conditions
are met, no error message is active and a setpoint value >0 at potentiometer or stored in parameter 1021 is to accelerate
in the run-up time to the desired value.
6. Check the direction of rotation devices and possibly craftsmanship correct in de-energized state by swapping two motor
leads to the adapter plate, the wiring unit of the Kostal INVEOR.

Operation with Elektror basic parameters
The Elektror factory preassigned frequency is confi gured so that a simple control via digital
input „Dig In 1" and a frequency adjustment by the integrated potentiometer is possible.
Around the frequency of being able to turn on or off externally (without hand control unit
HMI), the jumper must be taken off between the terminals „24V Out" and „Dig In 1" and
should be replaced by a switching contact.
The bridge between „24V Out" and „En.HW" is not suitable for operational switching of the
drive and should only be switched at a standstill.
• Start / stop with „Dig In 1"
• Maximum frequency (100% = fully turned potentiometer) = rated motor frequency
• Display the current fi eld frequency only in the display of the HMI possible (HMI this is required)
• Winding temperature monitoring with PTC thermistor protection with automatic shutdown
• Relay contact switches on alarm
• Frequency reference via integrated potentiometer (see fi gure) adjustable
• After pressing of „Dig In 1" starts the device, provided all other starting conditions are met, no error message is active
and a setpoint value >0 at potentiometer or stored in parameter is 1.021. The impeller then accelerates according to the
programmed starting time on the stored parameters in 1.021 setpoint.
